CARE GUIDE – MARK DE BELLEROY

Thank you for choosing a Mark De Belleroy cap.
Made in France with noble materials, your cap deserves special attention. Here are our essential recommendations to preserve all its beauty and quality over time:

CLEANING

• Dry clean only.
  Never wash your cap in a machine or by hand. Entrust it exclusively to a professional dry cleaner certified by Mark De Belleroy (available on our website), if you want your cap to be treated by another dry cleaner, please note that the warranty will in no case apply, our dry cleaner is experienced with delicate materials (satin, embroidery, golden finishes) of Mark De Belleroy caps.

DO NOT DO

• Do not machine wash

• Do not hand wash

• Do not iron

• Do not tumble dry

• Do not brush (even with a soft brush)

• Do not expose to a direct heat source (radiator, hairdryer, etc.)

• Never soak the cap in seawater or in a swimming pool.

• Do not use bleach, chlorine, or any other corrosive product

Any use of products or practices contrary to these recommendations automatically voids the warranty.
Our advice should be followed carefully to ensure the durability and longevity of your cap.

WATERPROOFING

• Our caps are not treated to be fully water-resistant.
  A first layer of textile waterproofing was applied in the workshop as a preventive measure.
  We recommend regularly reapplying a mild waterproofing agent, specific for cotton, to protect the material without altering colors or finishes.
  This precaution helps extend the life of your cap and protects it against splashes or light moisture.

DRYING

• In case of moisture (rain, sweat), let it dry naturally in the open air, away from any heat source.

• To preserve its shape, leave it resting on a rounded and clean surface.

STORAGE

• Store it in its original box or on a suitable stand, away from dust and humidity.

• Avoid prolonged contact with other objects that could deform or crush it.

FINISH CARE

• Gold finishes: gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.

• Satin interior: simply let it air out after use. Do not apply any product.

WARRANTY

Our caps are guaranteed for 5 years against any manufacturing defects.
