Refund policy

At Mark De Belleroy, we are committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience and products of the highest quality. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please read our return and exchange policy carefully.

 

GENERAL TERMS 

 

  • Return Period: You have 14 days from the date of receipt to initiate a return or exchange.

  • Eligible Products: The caps must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with all tags and the certificate of authenticity included. Products must be returned complete, in new and unused condition, including the case, bag, instructions, certificate of authenticity, and original invoice. Photocopies of these documents will not be accepted.

 

RETURN AND EXCHANGE PROCESS  

 

  1. Return Initiation : To initiate a return, please contact our customer service at contact@markdebelleroy.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with the necessary instructions to return the product.

  2. Product Evaluation : Once the product is received, our team will check that it is in new, unused, and complete condition. If the product and its packaging meet our return criteria, an exchange or voucher will be issued.

  3. Return Fees : Return fees are the responsibility of the customer, except in case of manufacturing defect or our error.



EXCHANGES AND VOUCHERS

 

  • Exchange Conditions : You can exchange your cap for another model within 14 days from the date of receipt, subject to availability. Eligibility conditions are the same as for returns.

  • Voucher : If you choose a product of lesser value, the difference will be issued as a voucher valid for one year in your country of purchase. No monetary refund will be made.
     


 EXCEPTIONS 

 

  • Personalized Products : Customized or modified caps according to customer specifications cannot be returned or exchanged, except in case of manufacturing defects.

  • Sale or Promotional Items : Sale or promotional items are not eligible for return or refund. Please check the specific conditions before purchase.




RETURN AND EXCHANGE PROCEDURE 

 

  1. Return/Exchange Request : Contact our customer service at contact@markdebelleroy.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos of the product if necessary.

  2. Return Instructions : We will send you detailed instructions for returning the product.

  3. Product Inspection : Upon receipt of the returned product, we will inspect the product to verify it meets our return conditions.

  4. Exchange/Voucher : If the product is compliant, we will proceed with the exchange or issue a voucher within 7 business days.



ABUSE PROTECTION POLICY 

 

  • Abusive Return : We reserve the right to refuse returns if we detect abusive behavior, such as frequent returns or signs of use on returned products.

  • Thorough Inspection : Each returned product undergoes a thorough inspection by our expert quality service to ensure it is in new, unused, and complete condition.

  • Complete Documentation : Make sure all documents (invoice, certificate of authenticity, etc.) are included with the return. Returns without complete documentation will be refused.

  • Return History : We reserve the right to limit the number of returns accepted per customer based on return history.

  • Photos Upon Receipt : We recommend taking photos of your product upon receipt. In case of return, photos of the returned product may be required to verify its original condition.

  • Verified Identity : To prevent fraud, we may request additional information to verify the customer's identity before processing a return or exchange.

  • Secure Packaging : Returned products must be securely packaged to avoid any damage during transport. Products damaged during return will not be accepted.

  • Tracking Number : When returning, please make sure to provide us with the package tracking number so we can monitor the return shipment.

  • If your cap has been damaged following a dry cleaning wash and it did not go as planned, we disclaim all responsibility and will refuse reimbursement or coverage. 

 

WARRANTY

At Mark De Belleroy, we are proud of the exceptional quality of our caps. That is why we offer a limited 5-year warranty on certain essential components of our products:

  • The rivet at the top of the cap

  • The clasp at the back of the cap

  • The main seams (subject to normal use)

Scope of the warranty

This warranty covers manufacturing defects of the components listed above under normal and proper use of the product. It includes:

  • Rivet detaching without excessive force.

  • Clasp malfunctioning without misuse.

  • Seams coming undone due to a manufacturing defect.

Warranty exclusions and limitations

This warranty does not cover the following cases:

  1. Rivet damaged by improper handling

    • Any excessive or intentional intervention on the rivet.

  2. Clasp broken due to misuse

    • Clasps forced or damaged due to improper handling or an accident.

  3. Seams damaged by abusive use

    • Seams damaged by excessive tension or abusive use.

  4. Natural and environmental wear

    • Normal wear, fading, or damage caused by inappropriate environmental conditions.

  5. Aesthetic damages

    • Scratches, scuffs, and other aesthetic damages that do not affect the product's functionality.

  6. Cleaning outside of our services 
  • We disclaim all responsibility regarding cleaning outside of our Mark De Belleroy dry cleaning service; if your cap is cleaned at another dry cleaner, if your cap has undergone any possible shrinkage following this wash, or any other issue, Mark De Belleroy disclaims all responsibility.

Purchases from official partners

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from our official website www.markdebelleroy.comor through our official reseller partners. Any purchase made outside these channels will not be covered by this warranty. The list of our official partners is available on our website. In case of a claim, an original proof of purchase from an authorized distributor will be required.

Customer obligations

For any warranty claim, the product must be returned in its original condition, accompanied by the following items:

  • The original invoice: Photocopies, screenshots, or duplicates will not be accepted. Only the original invoice is valid.

  • The original box: The product must be returned in its original box without damage.

  • The certificate of authenticity: Each product must be accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.

  • All accessories provided with the product: No items should be missing (e.g., protective bag, tag, etc.).

Failure to comply with these requirements will result in an automatic denial of the warranty request.

Claim procedure

  1. Submitting a claim
    The customer must provide a detailed description of the problem, photos of the damaged product, and the original invoice. If the product was purchased from an official partner, the proof of purchase must also come from that authorized distributor.

  2. Claim evaluation
    If the product was not purchased through an official channel or if the return conditions are not met, the claim will be automatically denied. If the product meets the criteria, a thorough evaluation will be conducted.

  3. Product return
    The product must be returned complete, with its box, the certificate of authenticity, the original invoice, and all original accessories. Incomplete returns will not be processed and will be sent back to the customer at their expense.

  4. Shipping costs

    • If the claim is accepted, Mark De Belleroy will cover the repair or replacement costs, as well as the return shipping fees.

    • If the request is denied, the shipping costs will be borne by the customer, including the return shipping fees for the uncovered product.

 

Processing time

The product evaluation will take up to 30 business days. If the warranty applies, the repair or replacement will be carried out within an additional 10 to 15 business days.
