CLEANING

• Dry clean only.
  Never wash your cap in a washing machine or by hand. Have it cleaned exclusively by a professional dry cleaner certified by Mark De Belleroy (available on our website). If you wish to have your cap treated by another dry cleaner, please note that the warranty will under no circumstances apply. Our dry cleaner is accustomed to handling the delicate materials (satin, embroidery, gold finishes) used in Mark De Belleroy caps.

DO NOT

• Do not machine wash
• Do not hand wash
• Do not iron
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not brush (even with a soft brush)
• Do not expose to a direct heat source (radiator, hair dryer, etc.)
• Never soak the cap in seawater or a swimming pool.
• Do not use bleach, chlorine, or any other corrosive product

Any use of products or practices contrary to these recommendations will automatically void the warranty.
Our advice should be followed carefully to ensure the durability and longevity of your cap.

WATERPROOFING

• Our caps are not treated to be completely water-resistant.
  A first layer of textile waterproofing spray was applied in the workshop as a preventive measure.
  We recommend regularly reapplying a gentle waterproofing product specifically designed for cotton, to protect the material without affecting the colors or finishes.
  This precaution helps extend the life of your cap and protect it against splashes and light moisture.

DRYING

• If it becomes damp (from rain or perspiration), allow it to air-dry naturally, away from any heat source.
• To preserve its shape, leave it resting on a clean, rounded surface.

STORAGE

• Store it in its original box or on a suitable stand, away from dust and moisture.
• Avoid prolonged contact with other objects that could deform or crush it.

CARE OF THE FINISHES

• Gold finishes: gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
• Satin interior: simply allow it to air out after use. Do not apply any product.
